🦜 Found/Missing Parakeet 🦜 I’m hoping to help this little bird find its way home! I first noticed this blue and white parakeet in my backyard on Friday, and I’ve seen it again on Saturday and today (Sunday). It comes down to eat with the other birds under my bird feeders and then flies up into my tulip tree when I go outside. If you or someone you know is missing a pet parakeet (budgie), please send me a message. I’ve put out parakeet food and a bowl of fresh water to encourage it to stay nearby. I’ve tried talking to it and getting close enough to catch it, but it flies away every time I step outside. I’ll keep trying if I get the chance. The sweetest part is that it seems to have made friends with a flock of mourning doves that visit my yard every day. 🩵 Please share this post so we can hopefully reunite this little one with its family!
