Check it often especially when its quiet outside. Check bushes near your house as well as trees. Ask neighbors near to check garage the cat may h Ave been locked inside.

Put used litter box with no feces in it and put inside garage if possible open just enough for cat to get inside. If no garage then maybe on backyard table.
