Description

Brown and black short-haired tabby Medium-sized, sturdy build Large green eyes Pink nose outlined in black White chin and prominent white whisker Distinctive dark tiger-like stripes Mack is an indoor/outdoor cat and is familiar with the area. He is friendly but may be shy and run if approached. He is very food-motivated and quite vocal, so you may hear him meowing before you see him. He is not wearing a collar (he never keeps one on), but he is microchipped and registered through West Carleton Animal hosp. He was last seen Monday night and has not returned home since. Please check: ✔️ Garages ✔️ Sheds ✔️ Barns and outbuildings ✔️ Under decks and porches ✔️ Wood piles and other sheltered areas If you have seen Mack or have any information, please contact us at or send a private message. Even if you’re not sure it’s him, please reach out. Every sighting helps. Thank you for sharing and helping bring Mack home. ❤️

Message from Owner

Please help us bring Mack home. He isn’t “just a cat”—he’s family. He came to our family after a loss, he was there to help heal my daughter; he was there for my son’s homecoming and has been with him ever since. Every day that passes without seeing his face, hearing his meow, or watching him greet us at the door leaves a hole in our hearts. If you’re in the Carp/Diamondview area, please take a moment to check your sheds, garages, decks, barns, and outbuildings. Even if you haven’t seen him, sharing this post could put it in front of the one person who has. We miss him deeply, and we’re holding onto hope that he’s still out there waiting to come home. Thank you for every share, every lookout, and every act of kindness. ❤️

Put out your worn clothing and his bed / blanket - if he is disoriented, the scent will help him find his way home. Go out in the early hours of the morning and shake the treat bag and call his name quietly. Take a flashlight as his eyes will shine. Crack the garage door and/or house window so he can make his way inside if he comes home. Make posters and flyers and get them up and out asap! Call all the vets and shelters in your area. Hopefully he is microchipped and someone takes him in to be scanned. When he comes home, keep him inside as there are endless dangers out there for roaming cats! It is our responsibility to keep our pets safe. Good luck, I hope you find him! 😿

Please place his bedding outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing front and back door with a can of tuna on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home enterence . Show your neighbors a picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call immediately. Go early in the morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Best of luck finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾
