Mackerel ‘mack’ is Missing in Ottawa, ON

Brown and black short-haired tabby Medium-sized, sturdy build Large green eyes Pink nose outlined in black White chin and prominent white whisker Distinctive dark tiger-like stripes Mack is an indoor/outdoor cat and is familiar with the area. He is friendly but may be shy and run if approached. He is very food-motivated and quite vocal, so you may hear him meowing before you see him. He is not wearing a collar (he never keeps one on), but he is microchipped and registered through West Carleton Animal hosp. He was last seen Monday night and has not returned home since. Please help us bring Mack home. He isn’t “just a cat”—he’s family. He came to our family after a loss, he was there to help heal my daughter; he was there for my son’s homecoming and has been with him ever since. Every day that passes without seeing his face, hearing his meow, or watching him greet us at the door leaves a hole in our hearts. If you’re in the Carp/Diamondview area, please take a moment to check your sheds, garages, decks, barns, and outbuildings.
