General Information: Usually indoor cats are close to home. Check possible hiding places in your home. Hang clothes with your scent on it high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) RING camera - check camera or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely.

Oh no you’ll have to bottlefeed the babies every two hours. This is a must if they were nursing if your cat was indoors she will be very close by. Ignore Cats her afraid to be outside. Please get out now look everywhere. Look under bushes, trees, under cars, any hiding places you can think of. She will be very close. In addition, please knock on all your neighbors doors and ask if you could check their backyards. This is critical. Cats will hide in their neighbors backyards. If they are not home, go knock on their doors when they’re home and ask if you can check please. Also, it is critical that you post flyers of your cat on every lamp post and stop sign for miles and miles. I know it’s windy today but tape them down really well with strong tape. A lady in my neighborhood lost her cat. it’s been missing a few days. I encouraged her to put flyers up everywhere, someone saw her cat wandering and was able to call her not everyone is on Facebook so you must keep these flyers up daily. Time is of the essence. If the gardeners take them down, please put them back up immediately in addition, post on nextdoor.com your neighborhood watch lots of your neighbors look on this site. Post daily. Also call your neighborhood shelter. This is critical. Tell them you lost your cat. Someone may bring your cat there or they may call and say they found your cat and ask if the owner has called about their lost cat. This happens a lot. Please close on a lil lost petsites. get out at night with a flashlight and call your cats name and shake treats. Listen for meows. I pray you get your baby back as soon as possible.
