Be sure to put on Nextdoor App and Neighborsring App daily so nobody forgets. In every post put MISSING with date, time, year escaped, put in Natomas/North Sacramento. File lost report with Frontstreet shelter if missing from your address and it's considered City of Sacramento. There website updates several times a day starting at noon when the public can bring them in until 500. Make it a priority to go in every other day.Do Not rely on the websites even if microchipped BIG MISTAKE and or shelters, vets or anybody calling. Every time you go in person show them pictures and speak with them As long as it takes keep going in.The deceased are not on websites.Get big florescent signs up.You are responsible owner that has Microchipped correct?? Please respond

🚨 LOST DOG – WHAT TO DO IMMEDIATELY TO HELP BRING YOUR DOG HOME 🚨 If your dog is missing, follow these critical steps right away: 🏠 Bring Them Home with Scent and Access • Hang dirty laundry (T-shirts, socks, shoes) high on a fence or branch to allow the wind to carry the scent—use items worn by the person your dog is most bonded with. • Dogs can smell home from miles away—your scent can guide them back. • Leave an access point open such as a cracked garage or front door in case they return. • Sleep near the front door if possible—your presence may help them feel safe enough to come back. • If you have other pets, keep them secured in a separate room. 📣 Post Signs & Notify Everyone • Make signs with a clear photo and your contact info. • Put signs everywhere—on poles, street corners, and especially on doorsteps in the neighborhood. • Ask neighbors to check security cameras (e.g., Ring) for sightings. 🌐 Spread the Word Online • Post on local: • Lost & Found Facebook groups • Nextdoor • PawBoost • Ring Neighbors app • Include your contact info, dog’s name, and location last seen. 🐶 Microchip & Shelter Alerts • If your dog is microchipped, notify the chip company immediately and mark your pet as lost. • Call ALL nearby (even 1-2 hours away) animal shelters and rescues, and leave a detailed voicemail if no one answers. Follow up daily
