Place cat's used litter box outside near your door along with smelly food such as tuna or sardines. Indoor cats who escape don't usually go far. Check around sundown and after dark with a flashlight to shine cat's eyes while calling cat. Check under decks, porches and sheds; in window wells, bushes and garages: yours and neighbors. You may need a live trap to capture cat. Check with local Animal Control to determine if they have cat. Good luck.

Put soiled bedding water and food outside but bring the food inside at night otherwise it attracts wildlife. Prayers.
