Peggy Thornton King we have been here a week. He had only been outside a few times on a leash. He is not familiar at all with the area. We are right by a wooded area with a river, unfortunately I had to work this weekend and couldn't go searching down there but we have been all around the neighborhood and have not seen or heard him. Today we will contact all the shelters, I am hoping someone picked him up and took him to a shelter.

🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏When I lived in Houston and my cat got out, I walked the neighborhood/blocks around my house calling for her at intervals between 12-3am (when it is really quiet) for several nights and I was able to draw her back towards our house and eventually I caught her in our yard. I have given this advice many times and so far most people have been able to find their cats. Don't give up! Your cat is probably just scared, hiding and needs to be drawn out! 🙏🙏🙏

How long have you been in the new area & hoping you keep him in the house for time enough to adjust to new move! I hope everyone has given you all the instructions to follow to help him come back home! First notify the closest shelters plus the Montgomery County Animal Shelter which I think is the greatest! I wished I had chipped one of my cats before I moved from Spring to North Fort Worth! Wishing you the best
