Message from Owner

Spot is a senior cat around 14 years old, we believe and we fear raccoons or feral cats that can show up from time to time pushed her from her safe place right up next to our hse, please dont call or chase as she is very much mostly comfortable with us her humans who took alot of time to gain her trust. However she might come if you have wet food as she has been missing her unlimited dry food and her nightly wet food. We worry with upcoming events this weekend and next our chances of finding her could become more and more slim, and we are asking that any spotting of her even if your not entirely sure please reach out, its important to us she get brought back home. She is smart and could probably survive on her own for several months but these are her golden years and want to see her live them out at the only home she's known.

Take your phone outside, go on YouTube and play “cat noises to attract cats “ this has worked for us

Try setting up a live trap with smelly canned cat food and a blanket or bed that has your and her scent on it, put up flyers with her picture and to contact you if seen. Check your local shelter in person at least once a week. Don't give up it can take weeks or months.

So sad to hear she is missing and hope she is safe and back home soon. Unfortunately her safe place is inside your home. I wish cats would stay inside where they are safe. It's going to be very hot this week too plus fireworks. 🙏
