Owners will have pictures, paperwork or a vet reference.Y'all can call or go to together.Only the owner will have this information.They absolutely will have proof I'll guarantee from experience.The dog lives close by within a block or on your block or a block or two at the most just from experience. You need to put app found dog signs immediately immediately within 1 hour of finding or losing a pet that is the key to this old school way working this this absolutely works, I just done it twice in the last 8 months and both dogs got home safely to the rightful owner with proof I put my signs up. The owner put their signs up, and within 1 day, both dogs live within 2 blocks of where I found it. Time is of the essence.The urgency and the mediation is exactly the key to making these signs work. Grab 2 poster boards, fold them in half. Cut it, cut it again. You'll have 8 squares fill it out with permanent marker. Put your phone number on it. Put one in the exact area. It was found in on the cross streets nearby over a block or 2 and all up-and-down the main road, nearest to that area immediately. No proof no dog

You've got to be super super careful. They absolutely have to show proof of ownership. These dog fighters are watching these posts every day. They will lie to you and try to trick you. As you see, they will use women and children to do their dirty work. They will have 0 proof of ownership. They will grab any dog, then get their hands-on. Just so their dogs can it. Ask for phone number and address and tell them you go to match it to their license and call their phone is not personal, it's safety. We have to stay ahead of these people.
