Description
Ghost kitty, Mostly white, some black spots (see pic) has the most striking light green almost white eyes. Very pretty but roughed up from living a sad life recently. Anyone missing this poor "ghost" kitty? Hi, is anyone missing this poor fellow with the incredible light green eyes? 3100 block of Maple between Sheridan and Mr Carmel, north side of Maple. He showed up in my backyard a couple of weeks ago. Because he is so rough looking, not neutered, and yowling at the other cats back there, I assumed he was feral. He is not. Not entirely, yet, anyway. I have three cats I have claimed (neutered/spayed) that I feed back there, and because I have a big heart, I leave extra food out for the occasional feral that live around here/wander through. He showed up the first time a couple of weeks ago. Looking scared and rough. I figured he was another feral male wandering. He figured out my feeding schedule pretty quickly and has been around most every day at some point. It became clear quickly though he is very s-shocked and scared that he is not entirely feral because he began letting me bring food right up to him and set it down in front of him. A truly feral cat would not do that. Unless they know you extremely well. I have not tried to touch him. He is scared either from being lost or (I hope not) dumped. My heart is breaking for him (it does for all of them) so I have to see if by any prayer, luck, or stroke of pure coincidence, he is being missed by some loving individual that is missing him. Sadly, I am at my limit and cannot assume care of another cat. I am elderly and on a fixed income with just the intention to outlive these cats I claim as mine, all six of them. My goal is to outlive them because I will not abandon them, ever, if I have anything to say about it. My goal is to eventually sell this hse and move into a senior apmt residence that will allow me to have the last one or two, whichever is allowed, until they too pass. Following that, my biggest dream for the rest of my life is to foster senior and hoe animals. The ones that will die alone kenneled in a busy shelter or rescue. I want them to die in a loving home, and also if I should die before they do, there will be someone to claim them and take them back. So alas, for this scared little fellow with the most incredible light, almost white, green eyes, I cannot do more than I can and so I am trying to find someone who may be missing him or some other way out for him from this awful life he is in. I will not abandon him again but sometimes the choices are very hard when there are no others. If you read all of this, thank you, and peace.
