This little babe came crying for food right up to our front door! She let me pick her up and bring her inside our garage, and is currently safe in our care. Please help me find her home!

Kat Emilie I was able to confirm she does not have a chip via working with PAWs in Rockford, so unfortunately I do not have any contact information or confirmed owner. If I am unable to find her owner via Facebook and asking neighbors, I will work with a local rescue for a permanent home. She is currently safe within our garage but I'm unable to bring her in/adopt her due to having four of my own.

Here are two ways to get her checked for a chip. Send an email to info@wecareforpets.org to reach Care for Pets as they have volunteers who can come to your house and scan a pet to see if there is a chip and try to get the owner’s information from the chip company. Any vet can scan for a chip, but they are not always open. The Animal Emergency Clinic, 7145 Spring Creek, is open 24/7 can scan for a chip. They are located across Perryville and just down from Franchesco’s. 815-229-7791. Please call before heading over there as they might be busy with emergencies and not able to do a scan right away.
