Rosemary Packard yes I had the fire station check for a chip, he doesn’t have one. We feel like he has an owner but his pads on his paws are ripped open on a few paws and he has a limp. I hope someone didn’t throw him out the car or dump him. He is such a good dog. Praying I find his owner. I would rather find a no rescue and not take him to the shelter.

Thank God for you rescuing this poor baby. I hear that people are dumping dogs everywhere. It’s so horrific I live out in Southern California. Could you take it to your vet or if you have a Petsmart by you, Banfield in the back we’ll check for free for a microchip. Your vet can also do that. Not everyone is on Facebook so if you have a nextdoor.com like we have here that goes out to hundreds of people that would be really helpful. Also post on all lost pet sites. If you would be kind enough, you could put some flyers up around the area saying you found the dog. Again, thank you for saving its life. If you end up having to take it to a shelter I hope it doesn’t get put down. Maybe you can rehome it.
