My husband almost hit her on his rout. She was covered in dirt and sticks nails over grown hair completely covering her eyes, thick eye goop crusted around her eyes no collar. She appeared neglected and or homeless and very skinny. He asked neighbors if they knew where she lived no one knew they said they just see her wondering around all the time. We feared the worst for this little 5lb dog out in the heat all by herself for hours all the time. We took her in our home gave her a bath fed her gave her water a bed and toys and lots of love. Made an appointment for her this Friday to check for a chip with our Vet. The owner was able to contact my husbands work and identify the dog so she has been returned to her family!. I will pray for little Laila every day that she isnt let out alone any more shes too tiny to be let outside by herself, she needs to be groomed regularly and she needs a collar and an ID and she needs to be fixed for her own health as well as chipped because she has no sense of boundaries she will dart out the door and she will run the minute shes outside.
