Kim Haulk I just got a call from AC. A neighbor trapped a cat and took it to AC saying it was mine. We live in a neighborhood full of mean cat hating people. I live on over an acre. The same neighbor who traps cats called Code Enforcement on me for having a dumpster on my driveway while I was cleaning out my garage. We do not have a Home Owner's Association but people in our neighborhood have elected themselves to be one.I want to cry my eyes out some days. Thanks for telling me that. My gorgeous Oliver and Clyde are gone forever then. They were 14 years old.He has a pitbull that killed one of my cats that went into his yard too..He had a little dog that ran around the neighborhood without a leash or anything and always came into my yard first and did get business..I would never have dreamed of calling AC. We are now terrified of letting our other cats outside. 😭💔

Sharon Hicklin if they are trapping cats, they are being placed by citizens. Ac ail loan traps for cats but won't bring them or retrieve the traps. Citizens have to request and bring in. If you know where the traps are located, talk to the resident there and let them know to watch for your cats.

Karen Toler I work in cat rescue. They can find their way home most often. However we are missing several of ours right now. We know AC was trapping in our neighborhood. They have not come home. They never leave our yard. Do not give up. I hope they have stayed together. I was feeding a cat at Tractor Supply for over a year. I asked the employees if they or any of the customers would adopt her. She was trapped and released after being spayed and getting her shots. She had been there over 2 years living in their big court yard and they fed her every day. Finally an employee took her home. One day she was gone. When the employee got to work, there she was! She had walked 30 miles back to the store!!!! Cats are resilient. Don't give up. GOOGLE the Story of Possum in the Walton News. There are 2 parts. I fed her for 8 years and was finally able to catch her and bring her home. I worried about her not getting along with my dogs and other cats. She had been feral all those years. When she jumped into my lap and let me touch her after all those years after a big storm when I went to feed her every feral bone left her body. She always wanted my affection and to sit in my lap. I have not done Part 3 because she passed away after a very happy year and a half with me. She had a heart murmur so I knew her time was limited. I was holding her and singing "You are so Beautiful to Me" when she died. She is buried in my yard now. 😭 I will pray your babies show back up. I had a friend who's cat came home after being gone 6 months. Do not give up! Please keep me posted. I will be praying!! 🥰
