Message from Owner

please please keep an eye out for my cat, he is very docile and shy, and most likely hiding away somewhere green/bushy. I would appreciate it so much.

Scottish fold hopefully not out to roam and neutered and microchipped. Hi If you haven’t already done so, please also put something with their scent and your scent, such as their bedding, hoover contents etc outside to help your pet follow the scent home. Also, get neighbours to check out buildings. If you have a smartphone, Nextdoor is a good app to download to send alerts to users in your neighbourhood. Peg out some clothes aswell with a scent in it as it allows them to follow the scent home. I hope he is home soon x

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.

You may have done some of this already, but if not, it might be worth putting some leaflets with a photo through the doors of houses/flats in nearby roads to home. Many people don’t walk around their local area and some don’t go out a great deal so they might not realise a visiting cat in their garden is a missing one. Plus, posters at the railway stations, bus stops, and newsagents. A poster at the station worked for me. Mine was found after 10 days, so don’t give up hope. Also if you have any used cat litter, (or bedding), spread bits of it around your borders outside, (not the tray). Cats can pick up their scent from some distance. I hope your cat is back home with you soon.🙏🤞🐾

Check all the Vets in a 50 mile radius as most a lost or stray animal there for identification, chip reader. Good luck and wishing your puss a safe and soon return ❤️

Call your cat very late at night and very early in the morning when its quiet. Look in sheltered areas as if an indoor cat as could be hiding or sheltering x
