A lot of times they’ll respond to the owner more just fyi :). Id suggest going over there and trying- maybe with some of his toys if you have them still-you never know.

When caged birds get out, often they'll just fly until they're tired and stop. They usually have a hard time flying down, since they usually fly side to side. I hope it's person can get to it.
