🚨 MISSING CAT – PLEASE HELP FIND RAZZ (48+ HOURS MISSING) 🚨 Hi neighbors, I’m urgently asking for help finding my cat Razz, who has been missing for over 48 hours from the Cascade View Elementary neighborhood. This is extremely unlike him and I’m very worried. 🐾 About Razz: Gray/gray-blue tuxedo cat White “mustache” and white socks (uneven lengths) Distinct spot on one back leg near the sock Faint darker gray stripes on his tail Yellow eyes with blue centers Thin build with medium to large paws No collar 💛 Personality: Extremely friendly and social Loves people and will often approach strangers Very vocal (meows and “talks” a lot) Loves cuddles Loves to play (even entertains himself throwing toys around) Friendly with other animals (we have chickens and a duck) Always comes when called (“Razz” or “Kitty Boy”) Hates cars and avoids them ⚠️ This is VERY unusual — he normally NEVER leaves my yard or immediate neighbor’s yard. 🍽️ If you see him: Please DO NOT chase him Try calling his name (“Razz” or “Kitty Boy”) Put out tuna or wet food (he loves seafood) 📹 Please check cameras if you have them I’ve been searching all around from SAARS to 128th, calling and looking for him just in case he past through. 💔 We recently lost his brother in a very similar situation — he went missing and was gone for 22 days before being returned to us unalive, left on our walkway in a closed box without any explanation. I am terrified something similar could happen again. Razz is my sidekick, my fur baby, and such a sweet, loving kitty. I truly can’t lose him too. 🏡 If you are able to safely get him inside your hse or into an enclosed space, please do so — I, my partner, or my roommates will come immediately to pick him up or meet you wherever you are. 📞 Please call or TEXT anytime (day or night): 📧 CaitlinCopenhaver@gmail.com I will respond as soon as I see it. Even the smallest sighting could help bring him . Thank you so much for keeping an eye out for Razz 🙏🐾

You might try a live trap, they are fairly cheap, my Jane wanted to come back but was too overwhelmed and scared, she had made a home under a backyard shed across the street. Eventually she was found eating hamburger in the trap on my front porch and all was right again. It took about 3 weeks for her to show up and i did have to release squirrels and possums along the way which were easy. Tuna in oil also makes a lot of scent. Make sure there's water too. If its cold out, wrap the trap in a blanket and make sure to check it often, check it often no matter what the weather is. In fact, best to keep a camera on it. I believe in Jane's case, the live trap was her only chance. Best of luck and a swift resolve for you I hope

This site has good advice. Put out dirty clothes from the owner on your porch as cats can smell long distances and leave a door open. Walk around shaking treats and talking in a normal voice, but do NOT call his/her name. Play cat meows from YouTube & walk around day & night. This has helped find 2 cats! Hope he/she comes home soon. 🙏 Post neon flyers all around the area! Put out a cat trap if you know the area he/she may be and use an outdoor camera to make sure you are alerted immediately if he/she is caught. Walk around at night with a flash light too. Hope you find your kitty! 🙏❤️ The site is 3retrievers dot com

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.
