Cats are usually found within a four or five house radius. They may be hunkered down, hiding or trapped somewhere. Ask your neighbors. Go outside at dusk or dawn with a flashlight and look for your cats, eyes reflection. Shake it containing retreats to get her attention. Cats may not vocalize so you must search carefully.

Put up flyers in a very large area around where she was last seen. Make a scent trail by putting her bed and some of your old clothes and shoes outside.

I’m so sorry your cat is missing. I know how stressful this can be, but there are some things you can do to help. Start by searching nearby, as cats often stay close to home. Check under porches, in bushes, garages, sheds, and other small spaces where they might hide if they’re scared. Try calling their name softly during quieter times, like early morning or late evening, and shake a treat bag or their favorite toy to get their attention. You can also leave out familiar scents, like their bed, a favorite blanket, or something with your scent, to help guide them back. Make flyers with their picture, description, and your contact information to share around your neighborhood, and post on local community groups, lost pet pages, or apps like Facebook or Pawboost. Please don’t lose hope—cats are incredibly resourceful and often find their way back. Sending you all my best and hoping your sweet kitty comes home soon!
