Lucky had a rough life. Whatever happened in the past made her super shy and 100% indoors. Then, her mom surrendered her and Lucky chose us. I took her with me to gardening, we had 2 acres in upstate New York, and she was confident to be outdoors in the daytime, indoors at nights. But the inexperienced me did not cage her when the movers were packing and she ran into the wood. I settled in Texas, she came back to the old hse 2-3 months later super skinny, got adopted by the new homeowners, and when she gained weight to be able to fly, I came to pick her up. But the months living in the wilderness now made her 100% outdoors. Unfortunately, when I was coming to visit my parents for a month, she probably thought I was gone forever and now she is gone too. I am still hoping the same story will happen again, she would come back when we have nicer weather, but I am not sure how she survives this heat unless someone adopted her. I really miss her. If you see her, it is almost impossible to touch her or grab her. It takes time to gain the trust. Thank you!!!
