The coyote is precisely why you should keep him inside all the time. Over and over people that let cats outside lose a cat. As for catching mice, well that's just stupid. Mice can pass all types of diseases on to the cat, especially if the cat plays or eats the mice. I work at a shelter and horrible people scoop up cats outside and use them for bait in dog fighting rings. 2 cats are spray painted different colors, thrown in with a fighting dog, bets are taken as to which colored cat will survive the longest and then how long before the remaining cat is ed. Sadly, this happens all too often. These people also get "free" kittens advertised by people that let cats breed. Wise up, keep your cat inside. If this information does not make you think or scare you, then there is no hope for you or your poor baby that is missing.

Set a humane team, bait it with sardines, cover and place near your house. Do not set in the rain. Many animal rescues rent the traps. When you get him back, keep him inside. Too many dangers for him outside.

So here we are we have a cat owner who allows their cat to go outside and now the cat never came back and they're posting the cat never came home have you seen my cat my cat is missing cats don't be long outside first of all you have cars you have stray dogs that could be running around your neighborhood that will chase and the cats your neighbors may not want your cat in their yard and they may poison your cat you also have dog fighters out here who take cats and use them for bait for dog fighting you have foxes out here coyotes if your cat corners or raccoon that raccoon will your cat you have animal abusers out here that will take a cat eat it up starve it set it on fire had you left your cat in your home at all times you would still have your cat so your cat's missing because you allowed your cat to go outside so I have no sympathy for you at all
