I recommend editing to give the nearest cross roads where your cat went missing. There are many train tracks in the 37421 area code. I hope you find your cat safe and sound soon.

Chase is likely scared and hiding, and probably close by; cats typically don't roam more than 5 houses (radius) from home. Ask neighbors for permission to look in bushes, up trees, in storm drains, and under decks. When searching when dark, use a bright flashlight to reflect light in his eyes to help find him. Use his sense of smell to lead him home; put out food and water, his cat pan, and clothes you've recently worn. Put out a box with blankets as an inviting shelter from the cold. Be persistent in your search; don't give up hope
