Go out around 2AM with smelly food or treats and call softly for her. Have neighbors check sheds and garages. Post lots of signs. Also a good idea to stick notes through your neighbour’s door or mailbox for them to check their properties.

A good list of things to do is on the Toronto Humane Society website, as well as (Click on the link www.catsinthebag.org itself.) Get signs up (not everyone uses fb, and the more eyes looking the better) and file a lost report with Toronto Animal Services and local shelters (and keep checking their listings). Make sure your microchip is registered, and your info is up to date with the company too. To find a lost cat, immediately search your home and property, focusing on small, hidden spots, as cats often hide near near the door they left when scared. Search all nearby shrubs and trees, window wells, garages and sheds, ask nearby neighbours to do the same. Leave her used litter and some food and water in hidden places near that door now and check in the morning if she's still not home. See Pawboost for more ways to find and sample posters. If she's in heat she may have been chased by male cats, and have trouble finding her way home. Alert feral cats feeders who may spot her searching or food. Post notices in a 5-10 block radius. Also alert local vet offices, rescues and shelters. Put a notice in nearby neighbours mailboxes, post on local notices boards, in community centres, churches and schools. Go out after dark bring food and treats, search a 5 block radius, stop periodically and softly call but do not make an loud noises or sudden moves. Lost cats are terrified and do not recognize their owner as safe.

Please place his bedding outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing front and back door with a can of tuna on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Show your neighbors a picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call immediately. Go early in the morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Best of luck finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️
