Tina Messinger Ok, I'm 99.9% sure this dogs "owner" is a homeless person. The collar is the type they use on their dogs. I actually bought my hound with a sprained leg from a homeless person and it had a similar collar. maybe this is another one of the dogs he's taken over. The owner of this dog doesn't need to get it back.

Please check for a chip. That collar is ridiculous.. no license or ID Tags. Absolutely ridiculous. My girl was found last year at Rosa Park school on the west side , she was taken to the shelter at arc. I adopted her 3 weeks later. No one even came looking for her at the shelter. She was skinny. Riddled with parasites that the arc and i took months to clear up.. wtf is wrong with people..putting a collar on like that, but no ID tag 10$ or less, a license 20$ a year. A microchip 10$.. that's like 40 bucks and people can't even fo that. Thank you for taking her in. Please contact police to pick her up possibly

Junna Bug you can take it to your local police station. They’re supposed to take it to the shelter please whatever you do don’t let it back out in this heat and dangerous streets.
