Is this missing cat neutered? Also is he loud? Has he got out before? Like sometime last year? I've been seeing this cat in my neighborhood ( highway 27 and finch ) more recently in the last week and I've seen him in before around end of last year then now in the last week or so seeing him again. He's a big friendly guy, likes to roll around, very loud meowing, definitely not neutered, he looks a little rough at the moment. He has watery eyes and looks like battle scars on his ears,

MALISH is adorable, It has been a while since he has been gone but don't lose hope. Put out posters within a 4 block radius as someone may have found him and taken him in thinking he was a stray. Then visit all the vets in your area and ask them to be mindful of any cats that come in looking like him. And lastly, call or visit all the animal shelters in your area in case someone turned him in. Call them every 3 days to get any update they may have. When he does come home micro chip him so that should this happen again he can be reunited to you quicker. GOOD LUCK ❤

A good list of things to do is on the Toronto Humane Society website, as well as (Click on the link www.catsinthebag.org itself.) Get signs up (not everyone uses fb, and the more eyes looking the better) and file a lost report with Animal Services and local shelters (and keep checking their listings). Make sure your microchip is registered, and your info is up to date with the company too. See Pawboost for ways to find lost cats and sample posters. Put a notice in nearby neighbours mailboxes, post on local notices boards in community centres, churches and schools. Go out after dark bring food and treats, search a 5-10 block radius, stop periodically and softly call but do not make an loud noises or sudden moves. Lost cats are terrified and do not recognize their owner as safe.

Phone Mississauga Animal Services to report him missing in case he’s found and turned in. Put up posters all over the neighbourhood. Go out and walk the area at night while calling for him and shaking a bag of treats. They can hear you better at night and usually aren’t too far from home. Good luck!
