Thanks for bringing the dog inside to safety, food and water. Can you take it to a vet to scan for chip? The vet may also recognize the dog and be able to contact its owners. Check with other local vets as well and contact the police. Also post fliers. And beware of bad actors!!! Also keep checking Nextdoor and Pawboost for dogs lost in and near your zip code.
