Artie Minnix-Burton Probably abandoned...the national statistics point to abandonment. That poor dog was most likely waiting for his "owner" to return for him, who would NEVER return for him..... This is a beautiful dog!!!!

Cheryl Ramsay My hunch, due to the overwhelming number of dog abandonments in this nation in these times, is that the precious dog has been abandoned. Most likely a neglectful former "owner" anyway. That dog looks beautiful!! Thanks for the care and possibly training you can provide to this precious dog!! He is only acting out of fear...especially is he has been abandoned...he was most likely (sadly) waiting for his "owner" to return for him, who would NEVER return for him. 😌😢

😭 other dogs were found almost dead and dead near the river in close proximity off of Semmes Ave...someone is dumping dogs!

Cheryl Ramsay surprised RACC discouraged you, they are amazing and find homes for so many animals in need. Rescues of course have the ability to vet /screen and deny adoptions as well keep the animals in foster care. Thank you for keeping this little one safe. I do wonder if he’s from the same litter as previous dumped puppy. People are horrible.

Could have been dropped but not by its owner never underestimate the situation of an animal thank you ever is trying to help keep the picture out there and share it someone could be looking for this pet God bless you

We live by Pony Pasture, a similar dog was dumped here about six weeks ago, was estimated 4-5 months old at the time. Possible litter mates. I hope this was not also an abandonment and an owner comes forward, but would surprise me.
