Please have him scanned for a microchip. It's free at any vet's office or shelter. There was a post on Nextdoor about 2 missing pits. Also, print out the pawboost flyers and put them up all around where you found him - on poles and fences at eye level. You may have to put plastic sleeves on them though because it's going to rain. Definitely require proof of ownership from whoever claims can send you pics via text with that exact white pattern on his chest and the blue collar and dog knows them. Sadly, there are lots of people around here looking for bait for dog fighting rings. God bless you for taking care of him! He looks very happy!💙🙏
