Please post cross streets. Get out calling Kitty's name especially early and late when it's quiet. Sure's high and low with a flashlight. Put up posters with number large. Enough to be seen while driving. And post on next door. Com

🐾 Lost Cat Search Tips • Go out late at night and early in the morning with a flashlight. Call your cat’s name, then pause and listen carefully. If you don’t hear anything, keep moving slowly through the area. • Check hiding spots nearby, including: • Garages • Window wells • Under cars • Bushes and shrubs • Decks and porches • Talk to your neighbors and ask them to check their properties, sheds, and garages. • Place dirty laundry or familiar-smelling items outside your home to help your cat find their way back. • Contact your cat’s microchip company and report them as lost. • Check local animal shelters frequently—visit in person if possible. • Post on: • Facebook lost & found pet groups • PawBoost • Create flyers and posters with a clear photo and your contact info. Hand them out and place them in visible areas. • ⚠️ Do NOT put out a litter box, as it can attract other animals and may discourage your cat from returning.

Leave some of your laundry outside your home to help him find his way home by scent. Also leave a door, lower window, garage door cracked open enough for him to find a way back into the home. They normally try to get back inside the same way they got out. If he is scared, he may be moving at night when it is quieter and looking for a way back inside. Hope this helps 🙏

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

I'm so sorry that Bella is missing. Often they haven't gone far from the point of last seen so check with ALL of your neighbors!! Research shows that most cats are found within a 6 block radius of the point of last seen. Please ask your neighbors to check their sheds, garages, window wells, under porches, etc. anywhere she may have inadvertently been trapped. It's possible someone took her in thinking that she was a stray. Consider putting missing flyers in the neighborhood and on the doorstep of any neighbors you don't get to talk to. I've helped a few neighbors track down their missing cats. All of them were found just a few blocks away. Also check online at the found cats at the NoCo Humane Society. https://www.nocohumane.org/lost-found-pets/stray-cats-2/ Check daily because they are only on a stray hold for a short time before they can be adopted by others. If she's microchipped, make sure that your contact information connected to her chip registration is correct! I've seen scammers replying to lost pet posts saying that they have found the lost pet. Check ✔️ Humane Society, Animal Shelters In-Person DAILY. Some Keep Pets 5 Days then put up for Adoption. Boots on the ground - Walk ur neighborhood check window wells, under decks, inside bushes, sheds, garages, under or behind dumpsters, under staircases etc. Shake bag of cat food as u are walking calling out, calling by name, saying are u hungry, bring flashlight. Some Cats will hide during day and roam at night when it's quiet. Knock on doors and ASK permission to search their backyards. Post Flyer's on neighbor's doors ***POST NEXTDOOR
