Hand out flyers and post big bright signs in the area and your yard. Go around and ask your neighbors if they would look in their garages/sheds. Go out at night & early morning hours w/a flashlight and call for him when it's quiet. Put a box with scented clothing in it in a garage with the door open just enough for them to get in. Tuna, canned cat food or shredded chicken helps to attract them.
