Put your kitty’s used litter box on your front porch, back porch or in your garage with the door up slightly. Cats can smell their scent from long distances and find their way home using their noses. Also, put up flyers at all major intersections near you, local grocery stores, veterinary clinics and Starbucks. Post Lost Cat notices on pawboost.com, petharbor.com, Colorado Lost & Found Pets, Nextdoor and Craigslist. Talk to your neighbors and ask them to be on the lookout for your kitty. Cats typically don’t stray far and often are hiding out in bushes or under a porch nearby. The best time to look for your lost kitty is after dark—around midnight or later when they feel comfortable coming out of hiding. Good luck!
