We found ours by going outside at the crack of dawn and softly calling his name as we walked our property and our neighbor’s. He came out from hiding to us. Take a smelly bowl of wet cat food with you. Post everywhere- FB, Instagram, tell the shelter and go there to look, and hand deliver flyers to your neighbor’s homes with a picture to at least a 2 to 3 block radius of your house. Is he microchipped? If not please get it done when he’s found. It’s the quick easy way he can be identified and returned to you if ever lost again. Good luck!

UPDATE 7/9: No sightings since the 6th. I'm printing off flyers to go out & distribute. I've attached a copy if any of u live in the area, are bored & u feel like bugging some ppl & hanging some posters... Thank you all for ur thoughts & some great ideas... I'm using them all.... Tracys always working, the reason I'm doing all the online works, but she wants to thank you all for everything 💜

Gab Kosak Thank u! I have 4 cats, 1 who ran away with a horrible ending 2 LONG mths later... That's how I found Pawboost. There were so many hits of people seeing her that were legitimate, I couldn't believe how many people are notified using their site, this site. Not to mention every pet owner knows how it feels & most know what it's like to lose one at some time & someway...ours pets are nuts!! I recommend Pawboost to everyone! My friend, Tracy Licorice's owner, has 8 cats - don't know how she does it! I tried most ideas u mentioned but the last 1, never heard that 1. I put pieces of clothing w/ my scent out for her. I'm going out to do this one now... Thank u!! 💜

Jane Kirby never thought of that one.... I wish I did, my dog, a Shiba Inu was a runner & apparently a digger which I found out after buying the privacy fence for a very small yard.... Lol! When he saw a squirrel, forget it! Thanks!!

They usually don’t venture far. It’s probably scared & hiding near by in bushes or an open garage. Most kitties will stay put in their safe hiding spot. ( if they’re not fixed they can wonder further, depends on circumstances) Ask neighbors to check their sheds, decks, garages. They usually venture out at night after 24-48hrs when they start getting hungry. The “witching” hour when they come out is 3am. If you see your pet, don’t try to grab it, it’s still on survival mode and will run. Just sit down maybe with some treats and let your pet come to you. (Remember, never put the litterbox outside. Other cats will mark it & scare your cat away. Just in case, also set some humane traps near by, hide them in the bushes where your pet might hide. Good luck & don’t lose hope. Pray to St Anthony, he hasn’t let me down. 🙏🏻🐾
