Has anyone see my cat? I think he must have gotten out last night or today. We are in the Fairfield, OH area on Roosevelt Ave. If you see him or have him can you please please call me at. He is a larger cat and is very very shy around everyone but his mom and dad. His name is Louie and he is very very loved and pampered. We just want our boy safe and sound.

Look at night with a high powered flashlight. It may catch the glow of his eyes. When you find him, keep him safe and indoors.

Be proactive. Cats that escape from indoors will most likely stay close by. They will go into hiding but come out at nighttime. Go out when it’s dark, or early morning around 5 am , use a flashlight and call out by name, look in bushes, under cars etc. Talk to your neighbors and get the flyers out , they are really helpful for those who won’t see your posts on the internet. Put out some clothing to attract the cat’s smell, if possible set up a Wi-Fi camera to monitor and if the cat comes- set a trap. The cat will try to find a food source so try setting up a food station and monitor. Report to your local police and if the cat is microchipped, make sure the info is up to date. I would also email or call shelters in case animal control picks it up. Check their websites daily as new cats come in all the time.

Call your vet ask they post photo description and contact info, reach out to other vets within a mile or so. Ask neighbors for help, search around your home at least 2x day dawn and dusk call kitty kitty sweetly then listen. Shake a treat bag or can listen, look in and under EVERYTHING you see porches cars sheds garages grasses trees drains ditches Don’t give up kitty is counting on you,
