Empty vaccum contents in the garden put unwashed clothing on the washing line. Post leaflets through letter boxes asking to check sheds garages put missing posters up in and around surrounding areas also go searching at night with a torch cats eye's reflect off the light

Have you tried going outside late at night, after midnight when it's really quiet and shake some biscuits and call him. Also have you tried putting some unwashed bedding outside on the washing line, it really does help cats pick up the scent and find their way home, it can take minutes, hours or days to return home depending how far they have travelled but it does really work. I know of loads of cats that have returned home after putting some bedding out. They can also pick up the scent from far away. Keep changing the bedding for fresh not washed stuff to keep the scent fresh, even the clothes you have worn will work. Also, check with neighbours in case he has been locked in a shed or garage. Put posters up on bus stops, lamp posts and local shops. Hope he is home soon.
