Please check up in trees, decks, shrubs and ask your neighbors to check their property. Go as quickly as you can to all local animal shelters to search for your cat. The nice people answering the phones will not know about all the cats dropped off or brought in by Animal Control. Try putting some of your unwashed clothing outside near your door. This can help a confused or lost cat help find its way home. NEVER put food or a cats litter box outside. Both will attract wild animals that may harm you, harm your cat, and will prevent your cat from approaching your home. Call all local veterinary offices and animal hospitals to check if anyone has brought your cat in to be scanned for a microchip or been treated for an injury. Post photos of your cat in your neighborhood, in grocery stores, and pet supply stores. Please don't give up on searching for your cat. I'm sure it would much rather be safe inside your home than lost outside.
