I see you have already done a few things but make sure to read this too. Your kitty should still be within 500mts radius; do this and the chances to have your cat back will increase: 1. Leave her/his litter tray outside ASAP. 2. Place a box (can be cardboard) outside; cats love boxes, if your cat comes by and your door is closed he/she may get into the box to find comfort and feel safe. Leave inside the box one of your garments or a cloth that has your scent and hers/his, this will help attract her/him. Your familiar scent is crucial. Leave also socks or dirty shoes outside if possible. 3. Keep in mind that cats are somehow ‘short-sighted’, from certain distance they can’t really distinguish faces, that is why using scents/smells to attract them works, this, and strategic, and constant physical search are crucial. You must always take one of her/his toys and treats and one of your dirty clothes (with your scent) when you walk around trying to find her/him. Be patient, do it when it is quiet, after 11.00pm but also by dawn; if there are many people around your cat may see you yet may not approach you as she/he may feel threatened by others or by predators - if he believes predators are around. Check drain pipes and gutters. 4. Check regularly your council’s animal shelter website. Good luck!

Also leave door ajar if it is safe to do so as sometimes they will return themselves… make up little flyers and put them in peoples mailboxes to check their sheds as some people don’t have social media 🤞🤞

It's super important to do night walks to try to find your fur baby asap! When you do your night walks after 10.30pm when the world is quieter, take a flash light and the dry food container and shake it or tap it as you go. And look in all hiding places close by to where your cat escaped from. Under buildings, shrubs, parked vehicles, up trees, on roofs, absolutely everywhere and most especially in the storm water drains in your's and nearby streets. The Flashlight will show up the eyes. Do not go once, go every night calling (try not to sound distressed) and just the repetition of doing that can help a cat find their way back to you. Then you can print fliers and door knock neihbours far and wide, asking to search their property's in case he's hiding there or locked in a shed etc. Call him as you search, you might just get a reply. Leave fliers with them. Always check in with the Pounds and go in person as sometimes the chips don't scan, leave a flier with them too. And you can also hire or borrow a humane cat trap and lure him in with hot roast chicken. Good luck in finding your beautiful fur baby. 🙏
