Please look up in trees, under low growing shrubs, decks, and under houses that may have left their crawl space open. NEVER put food outside to lure a cat unless you are outside with the food. There are many bears and some bobcats have been sighted that can harm you, harm your cat, and prevent your cat from approaching your home. NEVER put a cats litter box outside because wild animals will smell the litter box and your cat will become prey. It never ends well for a cat. DO go in person to all animal shelters in the in a twenty mile radis to search for your cat. The nice people answering the phones will not know about all the cats dropped off or brought in by Animal Control. Call all veterinary offices in this and surrounding counties to check if anyone has brought your cat in to be scanned for a microchip or to be treated for an injury. Ask them to be on the lookout for your cat. Post photos of your cat in your neighborhood, inside grocery stores, and inside pet supply stores. Please don't give up on searching for your cat. I'm sure it would much rather be safe inside your home than lost outside.
