Our family misses Blackie Cat alot! We adopted Blackie with his 2 siblings as kittens in 2021 from the Toronto Cat Rescue, so that they don't need to split up & stay together. 2020 we also adopt 2 siblings (total 4 siblings at home waiting for Blackie to come home!) Please ... ANY SIGHTINGS OF ANY BLACK CAT no matter where. Please text me:

Our beloved Blackie Cat is STILL MISSING. Please help us. 🙏 He was adopted from the Toronto Cat Rescue along with his two siblings so that they stay togeher, and never separate.

Hope he is found quickly and kept indoors. Tracking devices don't help with predators or traffic

Shared. Note that two days is a long time to a cat. If you have not yet done all these things do so ASAP, if you have do them again and go further in your search. Notify Toronto Animal Services and check their website(s) for found cats (every two days). Carefully check around your home and property, focusing on small, hidden spots like closets, dresser drawers and hidden nooks and crannies in garages, sheds, basement etc., as cats often hide nearby when scared. Search all nearby shrubs, bushes and trees, window wells, garages and sheds. Ask nearby neighbours to do the same. Alert local vet offices, rescues and shelters. Note that intact males cats can travel long distances in search of females in heat and have trouble finding their way home. Alert local feral cat feeders who may spot him searching for food. In case he/she is still around or comes around leave his used litter and some food and water in hidden places near the door he left and check early this evening. See Pawboost for more ways to find and sample posters. Put a notice in nearby neighbours mailboxes, post on local notices boards, in community centres, churches and schools. Go out after dark bring food and treats, search a 5-10+ block radius, stop periodically and softly call but do not make any loud noises or sudden moves. Dana Boettger oh wow!!! Thanks for sharing. I can hit about 14 to 16 houses a day talking to people but not all people are home so then I leave a flyer Some people are checking cameras and texting me which is lovely. Newest update caught who looks like blackie on camera 443am July 26 the day after we last saw him. Close to a big intersection. Last night aome caught maybe what looked like him 3 streets over which opens to even more streets. So ... when it cools down tonight 8pm I will go out again

Kim Vuong her mom had even put up a sign on their lawn with the lost kitty poster and had checked with her neighbours door to door within a three block radius asking them to check garages etc. In the third week she went round again and one neighbour. (Almost directly across the street) said she thought she heard a meowing in her garage the week before but said they never go in the garage so she didn’t think anything about it!! Cat mom then asked would she please please open the garage and let her take a look. Permission was granted grudgingly and she went into the garage and heard the tiniest meow. The kitty was hidden in a pile of boxes emaciated but alive. She went straight to the vet. She survived. It took months for her to recover.

Dana Boettger this is amazing!!! Thank yous sooo much for sharing. I went out at 545am this morning for an hour. Put lore posters up and talked to 2 neighbours. May i ask how the garage one found the kitty in garage after 3 weeks?

Kim Vuong I’m so sorry and worried about the kitty and you too. How upsetting this is. I’ve had two friends who found lost kitties close to home. One was missing for 18 days. He had somehow gotten into a walled in backyard and was seen on a surveillance video. He couldn’t find his way back out. The other kitty was locked in a garage for three weeks. The home owners thought they heard a meowing but never investigated!!!! Both kitties survived.
