Shan Stecker theres worse that could have happened then the shelter, you did all you could and from our conversation yesterday I could tell you really care about these dogs well being. You 100% did the right thing

***UPDATE*** Unfortunately one of the doggos got loose again and went after the horses of my neighbor that found them this morning & was taking care of them while we all tried to locate the owners, etc. his wife called the SO and they came down, called animal control who scanned the fellas (neither were chipped). While they were here trying to “re-catch” the older one who got loose (he’s the one who wasn’t as happy with us bless him ) the doggo was very aggressive and tried to bite several times 😔 In the end, since neither we nor the neighbors who had them are able to keep/take care of them, and have not been able to find owners or rescue to take them, AC did have to take them. I’m super sad and worried about them. I will be adding this info above to the original post itself and once it’s been up long enough to be seen sufficiently, I will remove it. Thanks everyone! 🫶🏼
