Message from Owner

A month I ago I bumped into this Asian girl who was looking for her husky puppy across Proper Foods at 535 Mission Street (the financial district). Today I saw a guy walking a husky that doesn’t seem to belong to him as the dog wouldn’t listen to him, and he would just lie down outside the same Proper Foods where I saw the Asian girl, and he refused to leave. I asked how the guy got the dog he said he rescued him not long ago and would not respond to my follow up questions. If the Asian girl happens to see this post, hopefully it helps. I’m not sure if the husky is your lost pet but I think it doesn’t hurt to try, it’s devastating to lost a dog.

The color of this husky is not standard, maybe it will help if someone is looking

Colleen McCarthy you don't know the whole story. This man is showing up (photo evidence) stealing at random stores. Whole foods, Walgreens etc. The dog has escaped him and ran out several times now and he keeps chasing it. Someone asked where he got the dog and he said he rescued it. ACC does not adopt out to homeless people.

Colleen McCarthy fair points, but the fact that the Husky wanted to just stay laying in front of Proper Foods and not leave seems worth looking into considering someone recently had her Husky stolen from that exact location. It's not a random pic with no context.

Colleen McCarthy where are you a social worker with harm reduction?? My partner is a social worker and he doesn't worry about clients dogs mostly that they aren't being taken care of, and his job is to help the client not help people abuse animals on the street while high etc

Harry Tam no because I am not a racist . The person who posted this entire saga was a random white woman who a month before she saw this man and his dog saw an “Asian girl” who’s name she didn’t get and who’s dog she didn’t see mention that she lost her husky puppy in this general area and now this man’s photo is being shared as if it’s been confirmed he stole this dog.

I saw this man and dog stealing at a store on Polk st. I thought the dog looked extremely clean and well taken care of and seemed off to me.
