If vet did the first scan for microchip you need to make sure Frontstreet shelter does a second one. They're so tiny many times get missed on one scanner and detected on the next. File a found report with French street shelter and informed them you've been holding on to and give them the date found.Need to put on Natomas Lost and found pets Facebook group public one and also the private group.Put on Pawboost and Neighborsring App.. In every post put FOUND With date and time did put in Natomas and nearest cross streets... I need to be beyond extra careful putting on social media and who may respond to you for the safety of the dog you don't want it to land in the wrong hands for bait. Also if it doesn't have a microchip,hasn't had updated vaccines, and is not fixed if you inform Frontstreet fostering they will pay for all unless things changed

Require proof of ownership. File online found reports with shelters. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers.

Fyi, she can't legally be rehomed for 30 days after found report is filed with the shelters. Best to take her to the shelter where owner will look and can be legally adopted.
