Brittany Schneiter hi there. I am very sorry that your kitty is missing. I can't concede that someone stole your cat without having the facts of course-- however; yes, I was referring to the young woman mamed Sarah J. who has the cat named Libra. Sarah "claimed" this cat on the found- post yesterday. A number of us were saying to the finder please require more than a picture including vet records and of course scan a microchip before releasing, but not everyone does that. This is one of many reasons why my cats do not roam. I hope this gets sorted out. If the cat she claimed isn't hers, she should have known that immediately which makes this theft-- which is in fact a felony. Monica Knutson knows the specs. There is a chance that she didn't realize it until she got home or something but then she should have returned the cat immediately.

This is why it is important to always turn lost animals into the Humane society.They have ways of checking as to who the real owner is.
