MISSING CAT: This is Sugar. She is 7 years old and has been an indoor cat until my A/C went out last week. We went out on the porch to cool off and she decided she likes it outside has been darting past me when I open the front door to go exploring. We went out to porch around 3 AM Friday night June 26/Saturday morning June 27, and instead of staying on porch area as usual, she wandered off into the dark near 43rd and TC Jester. She's not wearing her collar and is a bit scruffy compared to the picture at the moment because of from scratching flea bites around her neck. Pesky things are bad this year and worse after A/C quit working. She has been scared and trying to hide from the fleas, angry at being treated for fleas, and seemed to be having a reaction to pet safe flea treatment. I'm afraid she's gotten disoriented as well. If you see her, please catch if you can and message me through ND. I have located her microchip number and am working to activate it now that she's outside. Thank you in advance for helping her find her way home.

Hope Reh Thank you. I left a voice message for the chip company and am doing a lot of your suggestions. She was outside with me and I saw which direction she went. She definitely has not snuck back into the house. Thanks for the flashlight idea!

Cicely Wynne I'm on a designated bike path and talking to folks I've never talked to before as they are walking/biking past. I even "asked" a local feral that appears from behind my garage if she's seen my cat. Haha! I sure hope it's not that long. I'm concerned about the predators.

flyers on porches a block around. talk to neighbors. wont go far. be patient. inside cats get scared outside and may not answer when called. A neighbor five doors down kept the flyer and after 6 weeks when I had given up she called and had spotted my cat hiding in the front bushes exactly where I'd called for him dozens of times.. best to call when it's quiet like at night
