Probably scared and hiding somewhere nearby. Put some clothes or blankets with your scent on them outside. Go walk around outside with bright flashlights and call for him. His eyes will glow when the light is on them. Put a post on the neighborhood Nextdoor so neighbors can be on the lookout for him and contact you if they find him. Could be up on a tree and can't get down. Hope you find your kitty soon 🙏
