Judy Busby Unfortunately, there are two love of louie. The real one and the more followed one is at For the Love of Louie *Michigan Lost Pet Lookers*. Was your dog wearing a collar with your phone number on it? Is your dog microchipped? If no to both of those questions, then it sounds like somebody stopped because they thought they were helping a stray dog. This individual will also have no way of contacting you. You need to check all area shelters in person. You also need to get signs up throughout the area where your dog went missing today. The signs can be simple on state something like, "Missing brown and white dog (breed)" and your phone number. Your phone number needs to be on all posts and all signs so that anyone can call you with any sightings. Is also possible that the person who picked up your dog will see the signs and call you because they will realize that the dog that was out roaming around alone belongs to someone. Please be aware that you may get some scam calls/text messages. If anyone calls you claiming to have your job, but will not tell you where, this is a scam. But it is worth it to get a few scam calls to get the real call from someone who has your dog.

I did post it on love for Louie and the front door has been wide open. I saw someone stopped I believe she got in their car and they took off if somebody from the sub.

Please put worn clothing and dirty sheets outside right away with your scent on it and your dogs bedding/blankets with their scent on it so they can smell/find their way home. I’ve heard dogs can smell up to a couple of miles. If you have a gate, leave cracked so they can get in. Please post on For the Love of Louie, next door app, Pawboost and ring app. Please contact animal control and local shelters.
