I posted recently about 4 adult dogs, I also found a litter of puppies, maybe around 1 month old, these dogs all live in an abandoned hse down the street, I dropped food and water this morning, I called animal control this morning to find them a safer place but had no luck

LaNina Mackey that response is a crock of crap! You don't have possession of them, so per NC law, they are not your dogs.

Tiffany Baker I called, and they asked have I been feeding them and I told them yes and they said because I’ve been feeding them it’s like I have ownership and then they said they would have someone reach back out to me, it’s 4 adult dogs, and maybe 8 or 9 puppies

PK Henry yes ma’am, he called AC - they RARELY answer the phone or respond… but if you call the sheriffs dept then they will DISPATCH them. (Been here / done this for years)

Please call the non emergency line at Sheriff’s dept 910-893-9111 and they can dispatch an animal control officer.
