Wanna confirm it was/ want Benedict... we have been knocking on doors, putting up flyers ..engaging our neighbors..We are beyond sad and trying to hold to a glimmer of hooe...maybe it was a shirt haired Grey. Animal.control doesn't keep logs of dead animals they pick up-- which is understanble perhaps but sad

Cats are very active during midnight and sunrise hours. Call your cat between those hours. Ask your neighbors if your kitty isn't in their garages, sheds, under balconies, decks, check trees, if you have cameras check them out. Don't leave food outside our will attract coyotes. Leave one of his/her blankets outside by your door, and one of your clothing. May God bring you kitty back home safely and protect her/him from cars, predators and wildlife. In Jesus name. Amen! 🙏🙏🙏🙏💔🙌🐾😢🌷

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Immediately (NOW)walk area shake treat bag or Bang on cat food can calling for your cat multiple times during the day-and-night especially when it's quiet out. Look under all bushes and in between houses. Ask your neighbors to check cameras garage, shed backyard. Post on nextdoor, get family & friends to search every day. Search at midnight-5am too call for ur kitten, listen for her meow

My indoor only male black cat got out once. We put out all the scents. Old blankets, our unwashed clothes, his scratch post, his empty dirty litter box, vacuum dust etc. My nextdoor neighbor would see him trying to return during the day while we were at work. Then get scared and run off into nearby woods. I started setting my alarm for 3am while it was quiet and go out calling him. Finally after 5 days I heard him crying in very thick bushes Nextdoor to our house. I saw his eyes with my flashlight. I had to literally crawl to get him. He was like afraid to move. I finally got him . They usually don’t travel far. They will hunker down close by.
