Thank you for saving its life. Please post on all lost pet sites and nextdoor.com your neighborhood watch not everyone is on Facebook. Keep posting daily. Be sure to check Pawboost every day to see if somebody has posted this dog lost. I thought I saw a post about him a week ago. It’s also critical that you call your shelter and report this dog. Owners usually call shelters to see if anybody has found their animals. Please fax a flyer over there. Your shelter is the OC Animal Care in Tustin. If you would be kind enough, it’s always helpful to post flyers on Lamposts and stop signs for miles and miles. Someone may drive around to look for their dog and see your flyer. But again, thank you for saving its life. It could not survive out there in this heat.

Thank you for being so kind to help keep this found fur baby safe. Please ensure he/she doesn’t escape from you and if possible, secure inside so a coyote doesn’t and go. Here’s some guidance steps of additional things to do: 🐶 IF YOU FIND A LOST DOG 🐶 Please take these steps to help reunite them with their family: 1. Post Online: Share on local lost & found pet pages and apps like: • Nextdoor • PawBoost • Ring (Neighbors app) • Local Facebook groups 2. Scan for a Microchip: Take the dog to a vet or animal shelter to scan for a chip. Many rescuers also carry scanners - ask around! 3. Put Up “FOUND DOG” Signs: Hang posters in the neighborhood - NOT everyone uses social media. 4. File a Found Report with Your Local Shelter. This is essential and often legally required. 5. Foster if You Can: If safe and possible, keep the dog in your care until the owner is found. Be sure to request proof of ownership (photos, vet records, etc.).
