Thank you all 🥺💕 this is my old man, 16 years old and its crazy to think hes not with me right now. I love him so much and i have had him since i was 8-9. Im 24 now. He has always been my love bug and i cant stand this idea of him dying and being gone away from me. Hes never really inside anymore, ever since we moved to our bigger apt. Were not on the 1st level of one, but when he has had his dementia he has fallen/jumped off the balcony before 2 months ago. But, when he did it, he was curled up completely fine in a corner waiting for his momma to pick him up. I was hoping thats what was going to happen, but i didnt. Im also assuming that even though i saw him and my other 2 kitties in the morning at 6am, i was okay. I finally fell asleep. Woke up at 12 to go to work and couldnt find him at all. I instantly started panicking and thought, "ok, maybe hes in the corner". Nope. I taked pictures of him around, i hope someone sweet is at least taking care of him. I lost him for 6 years when i was a child and couldnt control it. So, when i got him back from microchip in 2021 i have been trying my best to cherish him. I feel like this is all just a horrible nightmare/memory starting all over again. If hes going to be old, i want my old man to die in my arms 🥺😭 not randomly somewhere alone. I love him. This all so much.

Check on 24petconnect.com, they are linked to all the local shelters and you can search by your zip code. Call and physically go into the shelters to look for him.

Also try playing cats or kittens meowing on YouTube outside in your yard or in a window of your home. Check with neighbors as he may have been accidentally locked in a garage or shed.

Try putting something outside with your scent on it, worn socks seem to work best. If you have a garage put a bowl of food in there and leave the door open enough for him to get in. Although I am sure you have already done this, start searching immediately and keep looking. Look in bushes, under cars, and anywhere he can crawl into, they tend to stay close to home. Take a can of food with you and call his name or use whatever sound gets him to come to you. Search early morning, evenings with a flashlight, and late at night. Praying for his safe return home 🙏
