Lost cats will hide VERY NEAR for weeks and MONTHS - do NOT assume someone has him - You must go out and find him and inform every neighbor around your block depending on which side he got out...Also yes check the shelter and report him LOST there...though focus on what you can do right where he got displaced...Leave WET food and water right now and eat sunset - GET A CAMERA pointed with motion activation - so your phone is notified of movement...You can't believe how many cats are assumed GONE and they are still hiding VERY NEAR trying to survive mostly at nigh tmoveing about...Lost cat NINJA was found 71 days later ON THE BLOCK!!
