Appears to be a Beagle or Beagle mix

This dog was first spotted on 8/22 in West Jefferson in the neighborhood of Highland Ct/Fayette Drive. It has been seen a few times in the same area, usually near the woods. It is fearful and has ran away each time it has been approached. There has not been an opportunity for a close look at the dog but it appears to be wearing a collar.
